Martensville, Saskatchewan
Martensville sits just west of Warman on Highway 12 and forms the other half of Saskatoon's fast-growing northern corridor. With around 10,500 residents in the 2021 census and steady growth since, it offers the same young-family, small-city feel as Warman with slightly quicker access to Saskatoon's north end.
Neighbourhoods to know
- Lake Vista — one of the largest active new-construction areas, wrapped around a central stormwater lake.
- Wildrose — established mid-market subdivision with parks and elementary schools.
- Southridge — south-end neighbourhood popular with first-time buyers.
- The older grid — mature streets around Centennial Drive with larger lots and character bungalows.
Schools
Prairie Spirit and Greater Saskatoon Catholic serve Martensville with several K–8 elementary options and Valley Manor Elementary. Martensville High School is the local grade 9–12 school.
Amenities
Martensville has a full-service recreation centre (arena, curling, pool), an active downtown with independent restaurants, and quick access to big-box retail in Saskatoon's north end.
