Warman and Martensville are Saskatoon's two fastest-growing bedroom communities, and for a lot of young families the choice comes down to a coin flip. Both offer newer homes, strong schools, active recreation and a short commute into Saskatoon. Here is how they compare on the details that actually matter.

Location and Commute

  • Warman: about 20 km north of Saskatoon on Highway 11. Off-peak drive of 20 to 25 minutes, 30 to 40 minutes during rush hour.
  • Martensville: about 15 km north of Saskatoon on Highway 12. Off-peak drive of 15 to 20 minutes, 25 to 35 minutes during rush hour.

Martensville is a few minutes closer for most Saskatoon workplaces. Warman has the edge if you routinely drive further north to Prince Albert or the lakes.
